Good morning from warm and sunny Florida. This is my first venture into the world of blogging so I know the readers might find spelling mistakes but please have pity on me and don't be too harsh.
I live in central Florida and have been involved in genealogy since about 1963. My desire to learn and absorb more about genealogy led me down a path that I never had plans to walk. After about 20 years of doing research for myself and others who asked for my help, I decided to make genealogy my life's vocation. In 1986 I began earning enough money in research that I decided to leave my "day job" and put my full time efforts into something I love more.
By the year 2000 I had enough experience to apply to the Board for Certification for certification as a genealogist and never once have I looked back. Now I am reaching the age where most people retire but I dont plan to step off the stage of research. My plans are to train my daughter (who has a college education with a minor in history) to bring her education and office skills to my office and see if this will work for her.

Welcome to the wonderful world of blogs. You assisted me in the Ancestry Road Show at the recent FSGS Conference. I signed up for assistance on a whim and didn't have all my information with me. Fortunately, I had added it to my own blog and was able to do a quick print from the hotel computer which provided you with necessary information to help me. Thank Blog!
Nice going getting the site up and running. I look foward to reading it.
