First Amendment Foundation Seminar

We enjoy open and public records in Florida. Various branches of government in our state are always looking for ways to close or limit access to records.
The First Amendment Foundation, which is located at 336 East College Avenue, Suite 101, Tallahassee, FL 32301, is sponsoring three Sunshine Seminars in Florida during the month of October. The dates are October 8th in Tallahassee, October 15th in Orlando, and October 23rd in Miami. I will be attending the October 15th session to be held at the University of Central Florida. These seminars are designed for a full day but one can take any portion they wish and pay appropriately. I am paying $75 for the full day and get a meal tossed in.
These seminars are designed to keep the researching public, including the legal profession, abreast of what is happending in the open records laws.
In my next entry I will give all the good stuff I learned.
